KCHRC boasts a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit designed to handle a wide range of critical medical and surgical situations. Our comprehensive unit is structured to ensure optimal care for our patients through specialized units and advanced medical technology.

Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU): 15 beds
Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU): 15 beds, including 7 isolation rooms
Step Down Unit: 6 beds
Total Capacity: 36 beds

Portable X-ray Units: Available in each ICU
Pneumatic System: For fluid sample and medicines transportation
Central Speaker: For emergency code announcements
Other Required Bedside Facilities
Ventilator-to-Bed Ratio: Unprecedented in our region
Nurse-to-Bed Ratio: Ideal 1:2 for non-ventilated patient and 1:1 for patient on ventilator, provide personalized patient care
