Dr. Ajay Thakore is a distinguished Onco-Rehabilitation Specialist with over a decade of clinical excellence in delivering advanced, evidence-based physiotherapy within oncology care. His expertise spans the full continuum of cancer rehabilitation—from prehabilitation and acute care to post-operative recovery, critical care (ICU), and long-term survivorship.

He holds a Master’s degree in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy and is certified in Lymphedema Management, with advanced expertise in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT). His clinical approach integrates evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation aligned with global oncology standards.

As the Head of Physiotherapy, Kailash Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Vadodara, India, Dr. Thakore provides both strategic and clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality rehabilitation services. He plays a key role in developing structured rehabilitation pathways, implementing standardized protocols, and driving quality assurance in line with international healthcare benchmarks.

He works in close collaboration with multidisciplinary oncology teams to design and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs that optimize functional recovery, reduce treatment-related morbidity, and enhance overall quality of life. With extensive experience across ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings, he manages complex oncological cases with a focus on early mobilization, functional independence, and prevention of secondary complications.

His practice consistently demonstrates measurable clinical outcomes, including improved functional capacity, effective lymphedema control, reduced complications, and consistently high patient satisfaction rates.
