Dr. Yogeshkumar Mistry is a highly esteemed Surgical Pathologist with over 18 years of experience in the field of Pathology. He earned his MD from M.S. University, Vadodara and completed his residency in Pathology at Government Medical College, Vadodara, in year 2005.

Dr Mistry served as an Assistant Professor at prestigious Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore (CMC – Vellore) General Pathology department during 2006-2008. He is part of our team since November 2008.

Dr. Mistry specializes in Oncopathology with a keen interest in molecular oncology, providing expert diagnostic services and collaborating closely with surgeons and oncologists to ensure precise and personalized patient care. He led the establishment of Immunohistiochemistry lab and Molecular Pathology lab at our hospital.

He is a registered member with Gujarat Medical Council and Indian Medical Association. He is also an active member of Gujarat association of Pathologist & Microbiologist (GAPM) and a Founding member of Pathologist & Microbiologist association, Vadodara (VAPM).

Dr. Mistry is a Program Director of Oncopathology fellowship, a 2 years program run by KCHRC in collaboration with Parul University.

With a strong interest in cancer and molecular pathology, Dr. Mistry has published more than 10 articles in peer reviewed medical journals. He believes in continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancement and sharing knowledge with colleagues, which is apparent by his active participation in various conferences & workshops as either faculty, delegate or member of organizing committee.

As a member secretary of Institutional Ethics Committee, he upholds the integrity and ethical standards of research conducted within our institution.  By ensuring thorough and fair review processes, maintaining clear communication and adhering to regulatory requirements he contributes to the protections of research participants and the credibility of the institution’s research endeavors.
